Dimona is an Israeli city in the Negev desert, 36km to the south of Beersheba and 35km west of the Dead Sea above the Arava valley in the Southern District of Israel. Visit Masada National Park and Herod's Western Palace for their historical value. For shopping fun, head to HabereH Pub or Faran Natural Cosmetic. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dimona: Arad (Masada Fortress, Arad Contemporary Art Center, & more), Ramon Crater (in Mitspe Ramon) and Horvat Rimon (in Lehavim).
