Few places in the world boast such a long history and such a rich multiethnic culture as Jerusalem, a city sacred to Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Western Wall and Old City of Jerusalem. Kids will appreciate attractions like Tayelet and Gamla Nature Reserve. Change things up with a short trip to Jaffa Old City in Jaffa (about 1h 20 min away). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Center, take in the spiritual surroundings of Temple Mount, contemplate the long history of Dome of the Rock, and admire the striking features of Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Nairobi, Kenya to Jerusalem is an approximately 14-hour combination of flight and bus. The time zone changes from Eastern African Time to Eastern European Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. At the northern extreme of the Red Sea sits Eilat, a resort town popular with domestic and international tourists.
On the 11th (Mon), browse the different shops at Mall Hayam and then explore the gorgeous colors at Dolphin Reef. On your second day here, see the vivid underwater world at Coral Beach Nature Reserve, meet the residents at Underwater Observatory Marine Park, and then cool off at Dekel Beach Eilat.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Jerusalem to Eilat takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Jerusalem in June, plan for somewhat warmer days in Eilat, with highs around 45°C, while nights are much warmer with lows around 30°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Wed) early enough to travel to Dahab.

More than 20 million people call Cairo their home and, as soon as you set foot in the sprawling metropolis, it's evident they make it crowded and chaotic, but also exuberant and charming.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Pyramids of Giza and Bent Pyramid. Get some historical perspective at Great Sphinx and Khafre's Pyramid. There's still lots to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Khan Al-Khalili, contemplate the long history of Mohamed Ali Mosque, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary), and wander the streets of Islamic Cairo.
