A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Head to Grafton Street and National Gallery of Irelandfor some retail therapy. Kilmainham Gaol and Gallery of Photography will appeal to museum buffs. Spend the 9th (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's much more to do: take a stroll through Temple Bar, take in the spiritual surroundings of Saint Patrick's Cathedral, enjoy the scholastic atmosphere at Trinity College Dublin, and stroll through St. Stephen's Green.
