Pack the 17th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Zawraa Park. Considered one of the most cosmopolitan and westernized cities in Iraq, vibrant Sulaymaniyah boasts a strong cultural scene with a good selection of museums and educational institutions.
On the 20th (Mon), browse the different shops at City Star Mall, take an in-depth tour of Slemani Museum, then examine the collection at Amnasuraka Museum, and finally enjoy some diversion at Chavi Land.
