You can drive from Noboribetsu to Furano in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Noboribetsu in January, expect Furano to be slightly colder, temps between -5°C and -13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) so you can drive to Shari-cho.

Traveling by car from Furano to Shari-cho takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car; or take a train. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Furano in January since evenings lows in Shari-cho dip to -9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Sapporo.
