Start off your visit on the 11th (Sun): get outside with Road to Heaven, take in the natural beauty of Takimi no Yu, explore the activities along Shiretoko Misaki, then admire the sheer force of Kamuiwakka Hot Waterfall, and finally identify plant and animal life at Shiretoko Peninsula. On the 12th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the sheer force of Sandan no Taki Fall, then kick back and relax at Shiretoko Beach, then take a memorable drive along Shiretoko Pass, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Rausu.

Traveling by car from Teshikaga-cho to Shari-cho takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and taxi; or take a train. In October in Shari-cho, expect temperatures between 16°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Mon) so you can travel to Higashikawa-cho.
