Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): meet the residents at esquipulas guatemala, then Head underground at Cuevas, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica de Esquipulas.

Do some cultural sightseeing at Parque arqueologico uaxactun and Museo del Islote Santa Barbara. The former capital of Guatemala and a World Heritage Site, Antigua retains its colonial charm and remains one of the most visited destinations in the country.
Do some cultural sightseeing at El Mirador and Food Tours. Convento Santa Clara and La Recoleccion will appeal to history buffs. When in Antigua, make a side trip to see Museo Ixchel del Traje Indigena in Guatemala City, approximately 1h 10 min away.
