A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Get some historical perspective at Eiffel Tower and Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. Step out of Paris with an excursion to Palace of Versailles in Versailles--about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: pause for some photo ops at Arc de Triomphe, contemplate the long history of The Paris Catacombs, admire the masterpieces at Louvre Museum, and get to know the fascinating history of Montmartre.

New Orleans, USA to Paris is an approximately 15-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. You'll lose 7 hours traveling from New Orleans to Paris due to the time zone difference. When traveling from New Orleans in September, plan for a bit cooler days and cooler nights in Paris: temperatures range from 70°F by day to 53°F at night. Le Lavandou is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Visit La plage and Plage de Jean Blanc for some beach relaxation. Get outdoors at Plage de Sylvabelle and Plage d'Aiguebelle. Venture out of the city with trips to La Croix-Valmer (Plage de Vergeron, Heraclee Beach, & more).
