You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Frederiksborg Castle and Roskilde Domkirke. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Nyhavn and National Museum of Denmark. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Copenhagen: Viking Ship Museum (in Roskilde) and Geo Center Mons Klint (in Borre).
