Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Istanbul is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle. In August, Istanbul is cooler than Riyadh - with highs of 34°C and lows of 25°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to travel to Budapest.

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
