On the 21st (Sat), delve into the distant past at Colosseum, delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill, then get engrossed in the history at Crypta Balbi, and finally explore the ancient world of Pantheon. On the 22nd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the striking landscape at Viminale and then explore the striking landscape at Esquilino.

Bridgetown, Barbados to Rome is an approximately 15-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 5 hours traveling from Bridgetown to Rome. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Bridgetown in May, with highs in Rome at 28°C and lows at 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Cinque Terre.
