A sprawling metropolis and home to millions of Ethiopians, Addis Ababa houses many international organizations, embassies, and commissions, making it a diplomatic, political, and economic hub of the country.
On the 13th (Mon), pause for some serene contemplation at Arada Giyorgis, see the interesting displays at Ethnological Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Holy Trinity Cathedral, and finally see the interesting displays at Red Terror Martyrs Memorial Museum. On the next day, contemplate the long history of Meskel Square, take in the dramatic natural features at Entoto Hill, then examine the collection at National Museum of Ethiopia, and finally make a trip to Yekatit 12 Martyrs Square.

Tallinn, Estonia to Addis Ababa is an approximately 20-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Tallinn to Addis Ababa. Prepare for much warmer weather when traveling from Tallinn in January: high temperatures in Addis Ababa hover around 27°C and lows are around 11°C.
