Vibrant and noisy, London is one of the world’s leading cities, an international capital of culture, education, fashion, music, finance, trade, and politics.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Wallace Collection and Hampton Court Palace. Your inner history buff will appreciate Waddesdon Manor and The Ladywell at Speen. Venture out of the city with trips to Cambridge (King's College Chapel & Fitzwilliam Museum), IWM Duxford (in Duxford) and Highclere Castle (in Newbury). You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Beachy Head and Chichester Cathedral. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like St. Mary's Parish Church and Arundel Cathedral. Explore Eastbourne's surroundings by going to Battle Abbey and Battlefield (in Battle), Brighton (North Laine & Gustamps) and Bodiam Castle (in Bodiam). Explore hidden gems such as Wells Cathedral and Hengistbury Head Beach. Visit Winchester Cathedral and Keates Quarry Dinosaur Footprints for their historical value.
