Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Stradun and Brsalje Street. Do some cultural sightseeing at Cavtat Old Town and Old Town. There's still lots to do: explore the ancient world of Gradske Zidine, steep yourself in history at Fort Bokar, get engrossed in the history at Memorial Room of the Defenders of Dubrovnik, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Dominican Monastery.

Toronto, Canada to Dubrovnik is an approximately 19-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 6 hours traveling from Toronto to Dubrovnik.
