Farmington

Farmington is an affluent town located in Hartford County in the Farmington Valley area of central Connecticut in the United States. Kids will enjoy The Mark Twain House & Museum and Kidcity Children's Museum. Change things up with these side-trips from Farmington: Litchfield History Museum (in Litchfield), Connecticut Trolley Museum (in East Windsor) and Hotchkiss-Fyler House Museum (in Torrington). There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, do a tasting at Sunset Meadow Vineyards, stroll around Hubbard Park, and examine the collection at Dinosaur State Park.
