Bordered by the spectacular peaks of the Alberta Rockies, within a stone's throw of Banff National Park, the town of Canmore serves as an excellent base for outdoor adventures.
Take a break from the city and head to Sulphur Mountain and Canmore Cave Tours. Explore hidden gems such as Vermilion Lakes and Tunnel Mountain Trail. Get out of town with these interesting Canmore side-trips: Lake Louise (Lake Agnes & Big Beehive). There's much more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ha Ling Peak, relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, get outside with Via Ferrata, and shake up your sightseeing with a climbing tour.
