Known as the "Stampede City" thanks to its world-famous annual rodeo, Calgary remains a tale of two cities.
On the 4th (Sat), indulge your thirst for a good beer at Minhas Brewery, thenglide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and then steep yourself in history at Eau Claire Smokestack. Keep things going the next day: learn about all things military at The Military Museums, see the interesting displays at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, and then stroll through Calgary Pathway System.

Saskatoon to Calgary is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Saskatoon to Calgary. In July, daily temperatures in Calgary can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) so you can drive to Golden.
