The booming city of Bucharest is a sophisticated metropolis with a high contrast of old- and new-world architecture.
Visiting Green Adventure and Romania Motorcycle Tours will get you outdoors. Muzeul National al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti" and Biserica Sfantul Anton - Curtea Veche are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's much more to do: ponder the world of politics at Palace of Parliament, get to know the fascinating history of Old Town, admire the natural beauty at Cismigiu Parc, and stroll around Herăstrău Park.

Sighisoara

As a World Heritage Site, Sighisoara is visited mostly for its fortified Old Town surrounded entirely by city walls.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sighisoara Historic Center and The Fortified Church of Biertan. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Art & Crafts and The Spoonman. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Sighisoara: Bear Lake (in Sovata), Viscri Fortified Church (in Viscri) and Cetatea Rupea (in Rupea). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Sighisoara Clock Tower, take in the pleasant sights at Scara Acoperita-Covered Stairway, and pause for some serene contemplation at Church on the Hill.

Sibiu

Reminiscent of the height of the bourgeoisie and retaining much of its medieval architecture, Sibiu is Romania's cultural gem.
Get some cultural insight at Muzeul ASTRA and Biserica fortificata din Cristian. When in Sibiu, make a side trip to see Transfagarasan Highway in Curtea de Arges, approximately Curtea de Arges away. There's much more to do: make a trip to Big Square (Piata Mare), wander the streets of Passage of Stairs, enjoy breathtaking views from Turnul Sfatului (The Tower of the Council), and walk around Citadel Park of Sibiu.
