Famed for its neat vineyards and thriving wine production, Mendoza remains the place to visit for a pleasant combination of relaxation and recreation.
Step off the beaten path and head to Bodega Chandon and Vina Cobos. Bodega Tierras Altas and Casarena Bodega y Vinedos are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Santiago, Chile to Mendoza is an approximately 2-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Santiago to Mendoza. In September in Mendoza, expect temperatures between 25°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) so you can travel to Cordoba.

Start off your visit on the 24th (Tue): pause for some serene contemplation at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel of Candonga, get engrossed in the history at Museo Historico UNC Manzana Jesuitica, then steep yourself in history at Paseo del Buen Pastor, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Society of Jesus Church, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia Santo Domingo. On the 25th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the long history of La Paz.

Cultural capital of South America, Buenos Aires remains one of the largest cities on the continent, serving as a point of departure for exploring the rest of the country.
Catedral de San Isidro and Basilica del Santisimo Sacramento are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Basilica de Lujan and Basilica de Nuestra Senora Del Pilar for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Buenos Aires side-trips: Reserva Natural Urbana (in Castelar), Delta El Tigre (in Tigre) and Villa Ocampo (in San Isidro). There's much more to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Puerto Madero, take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, wander the streets of San Telmo, and steep yourself in history at Recoleta.
