Cultural capital of South America, Buenos Aires remains one of the largest cities on the continent, serving as a point of departure for exploring the rest of the country.
Get a sense of the local culture at Puerto Madero and Parque 3 de Febrero. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Delta El Tigre and Jardin Botanico. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Buenos Aires: Peru Beach (in Acassuso) and Parque Nacional Ciervo de los Pantanos (in Campana). Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Paleontologico Egidio Feruglio and Museo de Gemas. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Peninsula Valdes and Scuba & Snorkeling. And it doesn't end there: kick back and relax at Costas de Patagonia, see the interesting displays at Museo del desembarco Punta Cuevas, pause for some photo ops at Monumento al Trabajador, and appreciate the extensive heritage of The Town of Gaiman.

Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Perito Moreno Glacier. Escape the urban bustle at Enjoy! and Horseback Riding Tours. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Avenida Libertador and Santa Teresita del Nino Jesus. Do a combination of bus and flight from Puerto Madryn to El Calafate in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In November, daytime highs in El Calafate are 54°F, while nighttime lows are 52°F. You will have some time to spend on the 9th (Sat) before leaving for Ushuaia.

Often called the "End of the World" because of its position on the southernmost tip of South America, the expanding city of Ushuaia serves as both a busy commercial port and attractive tourist hub.
Take a break from the city and head to Lago Roca and Ushuaia Bay. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Isla Bridges. The adventure continues: stroll through Playa Larga, buy something for everyone on your list at Foto Center, see the interesting displays at Museo Maritimo y del Presidio de Ushuaia, and look for gifts at Feria artesanal Ushuaia.

Traveling by flight from El Calafate to Ushuaia takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or take a bus. Traveling from El Calafate in November, plan for slightly colder nights in Ushuaia, with lows around 38°F. You will have some time to spend on the 12th (Tue) before leaving for home.
