A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Musee Rodin and Île de la Cité. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Eiffel Tower and Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. Step out of Paris to go to Maincy and see Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte, which is approximately 54 minutes away. There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at Louvre Museum, admire the landmark architecture of Arc de Triomphe, step off the mainland to explore Ile Saint-Louis, and pause for some serene contemplation at Chapelle Notre Dame de la Medaille Miraculeuse.

Traveling by train from Brussels to Paris takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or fly. While traveling from Brussels, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Paris, ranging from highs of 29°C to lows of 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 16th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
