Versailles

— 13 nights

Royal Paradise

Renowned for its vast royal palace and gardens built by King Louis XIV, Versailles is also one of the wealthiest suburbs of Paris and home to a new cultural notability, such as a thriving artistic and musical scene.
Venture out of the city with trips to Chambord (Chateau de Chambord & Domaine National de Chambord), L'Empreinte (in Savigny-le-Temple) and Honfleur (Saint Catherine's Catholic Church & Vieux Bassin). On 20th (Mon), while away the hours contemplating the architecture of Palace of Versailles. Next up on the itinerary: steep yourself in history at Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte, get a dose of the wild on Evasion Canine, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chartres Cathedral, and make a trip to The Hall of Mirrors.

For other places to visit, photos, ratings, and other tourist information, use the Versailles trip itinerary maker tool.
