Kick off your visit on the 15th (Mon): explore the fascinating underground world of Kaklik Cave, then head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, and then push the limits with an extreme tour. Famed for its landscape of unusually shaped stone formations and churches cut into the natural rocks, Goreme sits in the central part of the country, an area originally settled during Roman times.
Step out of Goreme to go to Urgup and see Mazi Yeralti Sehri, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's lots more to do: get outside with Outdoor Activities, pause for some serene contemplation at Keslik Monastery, get to know the fascinating history of Goreme National Park, and go for a walk through Gore Harabeleri.
