Famed for its landscape of unusually shaped stone formations and churches cut into the natural rocks, Goreme sits in the central part of the country, an area originally settled during Roman times.
Change things up with a short trip to Derinkuyu Yeralti Sehri in Derinkuyu (about 38 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, learn about winemaking at Kocabag Winery, see Off-Road Tours, and Head underground at Cappadocia Cave Dwellings.

On the bank of the Mtkvari River and at the foot of Trialeti mountain range, Tbilisi's location has given the city strategic significance since it was founded in the 5th century.
On the 7th (Sun), steep yourself in history at Tbilisi Wall Ruins and then take in the local highlights with Walking tours.
