Possibly the world's most diverse city, Toronto houses over 80 ethnic communities speaking nearly 150 different languages or dialects.
Kids will appreciate attractions like CN Tower and The Distillery District. Get out of town with these interesting Toronto side-trips: Foreign Affair Winery (in Vineland), Niagara Falls (Niagara SkyWheel, Skylon Tower, &more) and Canada's Wonderland (in Vaughan). On the 9th (Mon), cool off at Mont Cascades and then get your game on at Cafe Chat Siberien. Here are some ideas for day two: steep yourself in history at Carbide Willson Ruins, then Head underground at Lusk Cave, then tee off at Mont Cascades Golf Club, and finally hunt for treasures at Marche Old Chelsea Market.

Traveling by combination of ferry and flight from Toronto to Chelsea takes 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. Traveling from Toronto in December, expect Chelsea to be a bit cooler, temps between -2°C and -9°C. On the 11th (Wed), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
