Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis and Sunnegga. Get a sense of the local culture at Mountaineers' Cemetery and Fondation Pierre Gianadda. Go for a jaunt from Zermatt to Bex to see The Bex Salt Mines about 1h 30 min away.
