Located in the popular holiday region of Ticino, Lugano is the largest Italian-speaking town in Switzerland.
Bring the kids along to Lake Lugano and Parco Ciani. Get out of town with these interesting Lugano side-trips: Valle Verzasca (in Lavertezzo) and Locarno (Falconeria Locarno & Piazza Grande). Martigny is the capital of the French-speaking district of Martigny in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.
