Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Let the collections at Museu Picasso and MACBA Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona capture your imagination. Kids will appreciate attractions like Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila - La Pedrera. On the 23rd (Mon), take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Alcázar of Seville, wander the streets of Barrio Santa Cruz, then take in panoramic vistas at Torre Giralda, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de Sevilla. Drive from Granada to Seville in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Granada in December, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Seville, with lows around 8°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) so you can take a train to Cordoba.
