Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Food Tours of Rome as well as Piazza di Trevi. Step out of Rome to go to Tivoli and see Villa d'Este, which is approximately 48 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, admire the masterpieces at Galleria Borghese, make a trip to Roman Forum, and browse the exhibits of Vatican Museums.

If you are flying in from Argentina, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in June, and nighttime lows around 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
