Referred to as the Portuguese Rome for its number churches, Braga represents an old town that today is the country's third-largest city. Situated in northwest Portugal, Braga boasts many narrow pedestrian streets, plazas, and spiritual pilgrimage destinations.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Thu): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Igreja da Conceicao, kick back and relax at Praia Fluvial do Faial, then find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Bom Jesus da Cruz.
