Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Museu Calouste Gulbenkian and Castelo de S. Jorge. Your inner history buff will appreciate Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and Castelo dos Mouros. Explore Lisbon's surroundings by going to Sintra (Quinta da Regaleira & Farol do cabo da Roca) and Cabo da Roca (in Colares). Originally a small fishing village, Portimão today serves as one of the most populated towns in the Algarve and also a favorite spot for sailing.
Start off your visit on the 31st (Tue): stroll through Praia da Marinha, tour the pleasant surroundings at Pescadores Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Falesia Beach.
