Although its history goes back a thousand years, Gdansk represents one of Poland's most modern urban centers, its thriving economy boosted by a lively tourism sector.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Fri): wander the streets of Old Town. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll through Stogi Beach, then stop by IVO&CO Galeria Bursztynu, then take a stroll through Mariacka Street (ulica Mariacka), and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mary's Church.

Valletta, Malta to Gdansk is an approximately 7-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also do a combination of bus, flight, and train; or drive. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Valletta in January: high temperatures in Gdansk hover around 0°C and lows are around -5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Warsaw.

Old Town Market Square and The Royal Castle in Warsaw - Museum will appeal to history buffs. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Old Town and Warsaw Uprising Museum. You can take a train from Gdansk to Warsaw in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In January in Warsaw, expect temperatures between 0°C during the day and -5°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Wed) early enough to catch the train to Krakow.

One of Poland's oldest cities, Krakow sits at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, its historical town center nestled on the left bank of the Vistula River.
Head to Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and Kacper Ryx Historical Shopfor plenty of shopping. Get outdoors at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Wieliczka Salt Mine. Step out of Krakow to go to Oswiecim and see Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Kazmierz The Former Jewish District, see the interesting displays at Oskar Schindler's Factory, steep yourself in history at Ulica Florianska, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Franciscan Church (Kosciol Franciszkanow).

Traveling by train from Warsaw to Krakow takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight; or drive. In January, daytime highs in Krakow are 1°C, while nighttime lows are -5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Sun) early enough to drive to Kudowa-Zdroj.

Kudowa-Zdrój or simply Kudowa, is a town located below the Table Mountains in Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the southwestern part of Poland. Start off your visit on the 30th (Wed): pause for some photo ops at Princess Anna Swidnicka Statue, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Errant Rocks, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Szczeliniec Wielki, and finally see the interesting displays at Muzeum Papiernictwa.
