City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and Coopers Rock State Forest. Attractions like Frick Art and Historical Center and Cucumber Falls make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Lincoln Highway Experience (in Latrobe), Grantsville (Hill Top Fruit Market & New Germany State Park) and Fort Ligonier (in Ligonier). There's lots more to do: meet the residents at Living Treasures Animal Park, immerse yourself in nature at McConnells Mill State Park, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Living Treasures Wild Animal Park, and make a trip to Sri Venkateswara Temple.
