Piran

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Hrastovlje Church of the Holy Trinity and Church of St. Francis of Assisi will appeal to history buffs. You'll explore and learn at Magical World of Shells Museum and Koper Regional Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Cross Cave (in Grahovo), Wine Tours & Tastings (in Vipava) and Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park (in Rakek). The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Svetilnik Beach, stroll through Portorož Beach, examine the collection at Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Graz, Austria to Piran is an approximately 3.5-hour car ride. In July, Piran is a bit warmer than Graz - with highs of 35°C and lows of 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Thu) so you can drive to Škocjan.

Bohinjsko Jezero

Bled
