Alnwick is a relatively large market town in north Northumberland, England, of which it is the county town. Do some cultural sightseeing at Cragside House and Gardens and The Alnwick Garden. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Embleton Bay and Warkworth Beach. Change things up with a short trip to Ross Back Sands Beach in Bamburgh (about 36 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at St Aiden Beach, stroll through Beadnell Bay Beach, and pause for some serene contemplation at The Parish Church of Saint Peter.
