Although Myanmar moved its capital to Naypyidaw in 2005, Yangon remains the largest city and commercial hub in the country.
Step out of Yangon (Rangoon) to go to Pabedan and see Bogyoke Aung San Market, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's lots more to do: pause for some photo ops at Shwedagon Pagoda, browse the different shops at Junction City, take in the spiritual surroundings of Sule Pagoda, and browse the exhibits of Kalasa Art Space.
