A trip to Zabljak takes you to the north of the country, a mountainous region that's as steeped in great scenery and views as it is in history and culture.
Take a break from Žabljak with a short trip to Tara River Canyon in Dobrilovina, about 32 minutes away. On the 30th (Wed), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Bobotov Kuk. And it doesn't end there: contemplate the waterfront views at Black Lake, pause for some photo ops at Monument to the Heroes and Partizans of World War II, and snap pictures at Đurđevića Tara Bridge.

One of Europe's most relaxed and newest capital cities, Podgorica sits on the confluence of two rivers, with two sides of it offering two different options for exploring.
Venture out of the city with trips to Virpazar (Monument to the Partizans and Heroes of the World War II, Virpazar Stone Bridge, &more), Lovćen National Park (in Cetinje) and Lipa Cave (in Lipa). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Ostrog Monastery, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, and contemplate the waterfront views at Morača River.

You can drive from Žabljak to Podgorica in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Sun) so you can drive to Ulcinj.
