Bring the kids along to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld. Change things up with a short trip to Boat Tours & Water Sports in Saint Cloud (about 38 minutes away). Have a day of magic on the 30th (Sat) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 3rd (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. The adventure continues: make an unforgettable trip to Magic Kingdom Park, make a splash at Wet 'n Wild Orlando, find something for the whole family at Star Wars Launch Bay, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at St James Roman Catholic Cathedral.

You can fly from Miami to Orlando in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Miami in October, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Orlando, with lows of 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) early enough to drive to Winter Haven.
