Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Escape the urban bustle at Rental Kimono Sakura and Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park). Tokyo National Museum and The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (Edo Castle Ruin) will appeal to history buffs. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sensō-ji, make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, take a stroll through Takeshita Street, and shop like a local with Asakusa.

You can take a train from Tokyo to Hiroshima in 4.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In October, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 19°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

On the 9th (Wed), take in the spiritual surroundings of Kasuga Grand Shrine, walk around Nara Park, admire the landmark architecture of Nara National Museum, then contemplate the long history of Todai-ji Temple, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kofuku-ji Temple National Treasure Hall, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kofuku-ji Temple.
