Start off your visit on the 29th (Thu): head outdoors with Toguchi no Hama, step off the mainland to explore Irabu-jima Island, then snap pictures at Irabu Ohashi, then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and finally kick back and relax at Sunayama Beach. In April, Hiroshima is a bit cooler than Miyakojima - with highs of 22°C and lows of 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sun) to allow enough time to take a train to Kyoto.
