Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Tokyo National Museum and Takeshita Street. Appreciate the collections at Edo-Tokyo Museum and Pola Museum of Art. Get out of town with these interesting Tokyo side-trips: Nature & Wildlife Tours (in Fujikawaguchiko-machi) and Kamiyatsuno Okusuu (in Ogose-machi). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple, look for gifts at Kimono Me, ponder the world of politics at Imperial Palace, and take a stroll through Ginza.

Manila, Philippines to Tokyo is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference moving from Philippines Time to Japan Standard Time is 1 hour. Plan for much colder temperatures traveling from Manila in November, with highs in Tokyo at 19°C and lows at 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Fri) so you can catch the train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Nishiki Market Shopping District and Fuuka-Kimono. Get a sense of the local culture at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. There's still lots to do: explore the historical opulence of Nijo Castle, admire the masterpieces at Hosomi Museum, don't miss a visit to Gion, and identify plant and animal life at Yase Momiji no Komichi.

Traveling by train from Tokyo to Kyoto takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In November in Kyoto, expect temperatures between 19°C during the day and 10°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Mon) to allow time to take a train to Osaka.

Start off your visit on the 24th (Tue): see the interesting displays at Osaka Shiritsu Toyo Toji Museum, step into the grandiose world of Osaka Castle, then examine the collection at Glico Museum, and finally take a stroll through Dotonbori. On the 25th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Mizuno Sportology Gallery, see the interesting displays at Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, then look for all kinds of wild species at Nara Park, and finally see the interesting displays at Todaiji Temple Cultural Center.

Osaka is just a stone's throw from Kyoto. In November, daily temperatures in Osaka can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 10°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Wed) early enough to travel to Hiroshima.

On the 26th (Thu), head off the coast to Miyajima and then steep yourself in history at Itsukushima Shrine. On your second day here, steep yourself in history at Peace Memorial Park - Hiroshima and then see the interesting displays at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
