Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.

Spend the 22nd (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Pune to Jaipur is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 30°C in December, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Thu) early enough to travel to Nanded-Waghala.
