Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Family-friendly places like Canal Grande and Doge's Palace will thrill your kids. Get a sense of the local culture at Basilica di San Marco and Itaca Art Studio di Monica Martin. Head to Dep Design Store and Azalea - Silk of Comofor some retail therapy. Get some cultural insight at Duomo di Milano and Castello Sforzesco.
