Gothenburg, Sweden to Venice is an approximately 7- hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. When traveling from Gothenburg in December, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Venice: temperatures range from 11°C by day to 1°C at night.
