Designed by notable English architects and proclaimed India's capital in 1931, New Delhi sits in the middle of a sprawling metropolitan area with a population of over 25 million.

Rashtrapati Bhavan has been added to your itinerary. Humayun's Tomb and Akshardham will appeal to history buffs. Gandhi Smriti and India Gate are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Mumbai to New Delhi is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or drive. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Mumbai in March: high temperatures in New Delhi hover around 34°C and lows are around 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Manali.

People visit Manali for a number of reasons, but all of them revolve around the landscape.

Visit Hidimba Devi Temple and Ghatotkach Tree Templ for their historical value. International Roerich Memorial Trust and Museum of Himachal Culture & Folk Art are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with a short trip to Naggar Castle in Naggar (about 1h 10 min away). And it doesn't end there: admire the verdant scenery at Solang Valley, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, take in the spiritual surroundings of Manu Temple, and hit the slopes at Solang Nullah.

You can fly from New Delhi to Manali in 3.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of flight and taxi; or drive. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Mon) early enough to drive to Shimla.

Get outdoors at Kufri Fun World and Naldehra Golf Course. You'll explore and learn at Prantika and Army Herritage Museum. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Annandale Army Heritage Museum, make a trip to The Ridge, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jakhu Temple, and pause for some serene contemplation at Christ Church.

Traveling by car from Manali to Shimla takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Fri) to allow time to take a bus to Chandigarh.

Take a break from the city and head to Sukhna Lake and Chandigarh Fitness Trail & Flower Garden. Appreciate the collections at Government Museum and Art Gallery and Le Corbusier Centre. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Christ The King Cathedral, examine the collection at Museum Maison Jeanneret, buy something for everyone on your list at Elante mall, and make a trip to Urban Theka.
