Szeged is the third largest city of Hungary, the largest city and regional centre of the Southern Great Plain and the county seat of Csongrád county. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Koros Torok Sandy Beach and Pick Salami and Szeged Paprika Museum. Get outdoors at Beach and Lombkorona setany. When in Szeged, make a side trip to see Reformed New Church in Hodmezovasarhely, approximately Hodmezovasarhely away. There's much more to do: examine the collection at Black House, look for all kinds of wild species at Buffalo Reservation, pause for some photo ops at Millennium Fountain, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church of Szeged.
