Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Gravensteen and Rubens House (Rubenshuis). Get a sense of the local culture at Grote Markt and Museum Plantin-Moretus. Change things up with these side-trips from Antwerp: Tyne Cot Cemetery (in Zonnebeke), Ghent (Saint Bavo's Cathedral, Graslei and Korenlei, & more) and Atlantic Wall Museum (in Ostend). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Red Star Line Museum, look for gifts at Di Amore, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of Our Lady, and admire the striking features of Antwerpen-Centraal.
