Head to Goza 9 Mori 9 Shoten and Akita Station Building Topicofor plenty of shopping. Relax by the water at Oganishi Beach and Kisakata Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Daisen side-trips: Hiraizumi-cho (Motsu-ji Temple, Chuson-ji Temple, &more), Semboku (Ishiguro Samurai House, Samurai District, &more) and Matagi Shiryokan (in Kitaakita).
