Chalcis or Chalkida is the chief town of the island of Euboea in Greece, situated on the Euripus Strait at its narrowest point. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Khalkis: St. John The Russian (in Prokopi), Upper Town of Monemvasia (in Kastro) and Archaeological Museum of Thebes (in Thiva). On the 5th (Sat), take in the natural beauty of The Healing Thermal Springs of Edipsos and then identify plant and animal life at Lichadonisia.
