Kids will appreciate attractions like Stanley Park and Granville Island. Get in touch with nature at Vancouver Seawall and Bloedel Conservatory. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Gastown.

Dublin, Ireland to Vancouver is an approximately 12.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 8 hours traveling from Dublin to Vancouver. Home to one of the largest ski areas in North America, former logging town of Whistler provides activities and entertainment for avid nature lovers and adrenaline seekers.
Family-friendly places like Zipline and Vallea Lumina will thrill your kids. Step out of the city life by going to Brandywine Falls Provincial Park and Alexander Falls. The adventure continues: hike along The Whistler Train Wreck Trail, stroll through Whistler Valley Trail, cruise along Sea to Sky Highway, and look for gifts at Spicy Sports.

You can drive from Vancouver to Whistler in 2 hours. Other options are to take a shuttle; or take a bus. Traveling from Vancouver in August, Whistler is a bit cooler at night with lows of °C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sun) so you can travel to Victoria.

Many urban centers call themselves "Garden City," but thanks to its many manicured parks filled with native and exotic plants, Victoria probably deserves than moniker more than most.
Get outdoors at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Zipline. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Victoria Butterfly Gardens and Fishing Charters & Tours. Change things up with a short trip to East Sooke Regional Park in Sooke (about 46 minutes away). There's still lots to do: hike along Scenic Marine Route, explore the activities along Clover Point Park, and identify plant and animal life at Race Rocks.

Do a combination of car and ferry from Whistler to Victoria in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of bus and ferry. When traveling from Whistler in August, plan for little chillier days in Victoria, with highs around °C, while nights are about the same with lows around °C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Tofino.
